Did you know that beach tennis was invented as early as 1945 by the architect Lian Pontes de Carvalho, who gave the racquet sport the appealing name "Frescobol"? The idea was to create a Brazilian equivalent of tennis, but without the competitiveness. Instead of striving to win at all costs, this game is all about collaboration. There are no winners or losers; the sole objective is to keep the ball in the air together for as long as possible. To revive this historical concept, Printworks has designed this aesthetic set for hours of enjoyment. The set includes 2 rackets with ergonomic wooden handles, a red ball for easy spotting, and a pouch to store the loose elements.
